The sun is finally starting to melt the snow from the ground and you can see how the grass it trying to fight itself back to life. The fact that this happens every year and every time the smallest and most fragile plant manages to survive makes me reflect on what we as people are doing to the world and environment. Like, these plants manage to make it thru so much in nature and then we come along and just rip them from existence in a blink of an eye. It makes me sad while at the same time making me realize how amazing nature really is.

The view of the city in this late and very cold spring makes me wonder, after this long and hard winter, will it ever end? Now I start to see there is a light at the end of this cold and long tunnel. The trees aren’t really green yet but at least the ice is all gone and that makes me feel very good. You can see it on the people’s faces to; I mean people on the streets don’t look as miserable any more. I think it’s because they know that soon enough it will be summer and they can once again enjoy the outside.

My friends and me played our first soccer match outside this day. It was very fun and exciting to be outside after so much time being forced to go physical activity insides. We played against some random guys that also wanted to play soccer on the same field. We lost but we didn’t really care because we had a lot of fun.

The most annoying thing that can happen to me in the morning when im on my way to school is that the bus is late. The Swedish people are so proud of their systems that are never supposed to fail but the bus driver just can’t be at the bus stop on time in the morning so that people can get to work or school on time and that just makes me really mad. But on the bright side it the sun had decided to come out.

They finally cleared the streets of all the sand and stones the city had spread out because of the snow. It was so irritating to walk the streets and feel your feet slipping because you had the Sahara under them. Now you can once again enjoy walking the streets of Stockholm and not have to think or wonder if you are going to slip or fall because u stepped on something.
