Name: Akira Li (AL)

Time: 13:37
Place: T-shitstore, Götgatan
My name: Eva Olsson

At t-shirtstore an employer named Akira Li works. When I asked him about spring he started to talk about the regular things everyone does, like the sun and the heat and that everybody gets more open minded and starts to smile in the spring. When I later asked him about what spring meant to him he started to talk about his home country Japan, and the spring over there. The cherry blossom, or Sakura that it’s also called is a special time in Japan. It’s a pretty short period of time from January to March but then everything gets pink all over Japan and for the people living there it means that the spring has entered their town and to celebrate the spring and the cherry blossom they often go out to the parks and hang around with their families and friends, but without alcohol because that is forbidden to bring to the parks in Japan.
